About Taittinger
Maison Taittinger traces its origins back to 1734, when the original house was founded in Reims. The Taittinger name was established in 1931, when Pierre Taittinger acquired the house. A young cavalry officer during the First World War, he fell in love with the property and its vineyards and eventually purchased the company. Today the house is led by his great-grandchildren Vitalie and Clovis, and remains one of the few Champagne houses owned and managed by the family named on the label.
Taittinger first joined forces with FIFA ahead of the World Cup Brazil 2014 and the partnership has now run for over a decade. Champagne Taittinger will once again serve as Official Champagne of the FIFA World Cup 2026, extending a partnership that has been in place for more than a decade. Today, Taittinger remains the only French company partnering with FIFA, proudly showcasing French savoir-faire on one of the world’s most visible global stages.
